FOOD MINISTRY

  • Through the passionate effort of Brother Terry Lashley, when sufficient enough food is accumulated for distribution on Wednesdays, a call is made to individuals who either need food or know how to get it to those who have a need.

HERITAGE DAY

Every year in the month of February and in conjunction with Black History Month, PTOF takes time to recognize one member who has gone above and beyond in contributing to the Body-life of the Church. The recognized member doesn’t know about it but is always surprised to see family and friends show up to rejoice with them in the Special Honor and recognition from their Church,      

NEW CREATION IN CHRIST (NCIC)

  • NCIC is a ministry of outreach to help the homeless and the helpless, first to know Jesus as Lord and Savior and then to be productive in serving others. Opportunities to work and earn income is made available to those who participate in the program and have a desire to apply themselves.

FACEBOOK

PTOF had a Facebook and Youtube presence long before the Pandemic of 2020 and 2021, but since the Pandemic, Facebook has become a mainstay. Under the direction of Deacon Darryl Maze and Sister Jennifer Boler, great energy and effort has gone into taking the social network to a higher level.  

Men of Fairh

MEN OF FAITH

  • Under the guidance of their President Micheal Jackson the Men of Faith seek to enhance the leadership of the Brothers in the Church, Family and Community. The Men of Faith are instrumental in helping the Pastor to fulfill his responsibilities and giving working hand in projects undertaken by the church.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Every Sunday from 9:30 am – 10:30 am Sunday School class is in session. The Lessons are taken from The Standard Lesson Commentary and is taught by one of 4 highly qualified teachers of PTOF. 

WOMEN OF FAITH

  • Under the guidance of their President, Sister Evelygn Tuggle this ministry provides financial and prayerful support to Missionary Sha Givens the founder of I Can Fly Ministries that shelters and cares for young girls at risk in Africa. The Women of Faith auxiliary also offers health and wellness information to the congregation and  the community and also hold conferences or meetings with the women to discuss relevant subjects of the day

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS)

During the month of July or early August, Vacation Bible School is conducted with Sister Valorie Jackson teaching an overview of a Book of the Bible that has been selected by the Pastor. Participants who successfully complete the study receive a highly regarded certification.
